The Classical League Community
The Catholic High School Junior Classical League is a chapter of the Louisiana Junior Classical League, which is a branch of the National Junior Classical League, which is sponsored by the American Classical League.
The State and National Junior Classical Leagues host state-wide and nation-wide conventions respectively. For more information about the State and National Conventions, click on the links to the corresponding leagues below.
There is also a related organization for those out of high school, but there are no 'chapter' clubs (e.g. Catholic High JCL).

We the members of the Junior Classical League, covenant to hand on the torch of classical civilization in the modern world.
We believe an acquaintance with the civilization of Greece and Rome will help us understand and appraise this world of today,
Which is indebted to the ancient civilization in its government and laws, literature, language and arts.
We affirm the JCL experience develops responsibility, fosters brotherhood, promotes enthusiasm, encourages competition, inspires dedication and enriches our total growth.
